A church home for Marshallese families in Kona
Yokwe, and welcome. We are a Pentecostal church on the Big Island. Our services run in Marshallese and English together, so a grandmother and her grandchildren can follow the same sermon. If you are looking for somewhere to worship, there is room for you on Sunday.

About our church
Pastor Nickson Alee and a small group of Marshallese families founded this church in Kailua-Kona around one conviction: their community needed a church home where worship happened in their own language, the Bible was taught plainly, and the next generation had somewhere to belong.
That is still what happens here every Sunday evening. From Kona the church has grown, and there are now MNPCI congregations in Seattle and Spokane, with a fourth being planted in Arkansas.

Our mission
“We are here to worship in the spirit of aloha, share God’s word, and serve our local community through outreach, fellowship, and prayer.”

Meet Pastor Nickson
Pastor Nickson founded this church out of a heart for the Marshallese families who have made West Hawaii their home. Many of them live a long way from the islands they grew up on, work long hours, and are looking for somewhere that feels like family.
He leads with compassion, prayer and purpose, and his aim is simple: help people grow in faith and build a church that holds families together, grounded in the teaching of Jesus Christ.

Youth Hope & Recovery
Kona has young people fighting addiction, depression and hopelessness, and many of them are fighting without anybody in their corner. This ministry exists to be that corner.
Today that means faith-based mentorship, prayer, Bible counseling, and a community that does not give up on someone. We are working to grow it into a fuller program, with direct connections to professional rehab resources.
