What that means in practice
Worship with aloha
We gather Sunday evenings to worship in Marshallese and English together. Nobody has to switch languages to take part, and nobody is a guest for long.
Teach with truth
We work through Scripture plainly, a passage at a time, so that new believers and people who have followed Christ for decades grow side by side.
Serve with love
We distribute food with The Food Basket, run free clothing drives, teach practical classes, and sit with young people who are struggling.
Who we are here for
Marshallese families have been putting down roots in West Hawaii for years, working, raising children, and living a long way from the islands they grew up on. This church exists so that they have somewhere to worship in their own language, be taught the Bible plainly, and belong to something that holds families together.
That was the calling Rev. Nickson Alee and a small group of families started with in Kailua-Kona, and it is still the calling. From here, MNPCI congregations have been planted in Seattle and Spokane, with another underway in Arkansas.
Anyone is welcome, whether or not you are Marshallese and whether or not you speak it.
